the chaotic thoughts of a woman vs. the almost non-existent thoughts of a man (all in fun, my friends!)

During a marriage class at church last night, we got into a talk about the differences in how men and women think. All of us are aware of these differences, as they are pretty obvious!

As we were talking about how men can literally think about 'nothing' (which, if you're a woman, is so strange to even imagine!), I was literally thinking of at least 10 other things that very moment, and STILL contributing to the conversation.

So, just for fun, let's just take a look into the thoughts that go through this crazy mom's head in about a 10-15 minute time span! :) Beware of the chaos... ;)

aden needs to bring money for his field trip...
oh no! i forgot to fill out that paper for his teacher..
what is that?! another gray hair?! :S
there are a lot of eggs in our fridge, i wonder if david has called Chris...
kendyl has GEMS tonight, i need to get the fundraiser money & paper ready...
(at the same time, I open my English lesson book and begin to plan)
we should do 'this' project to help her understand that concept...
that would be a lot of fun to incorporate into an art project...
we should really go over 'this' today...oh and we better review 'this'...
what is that noise?! oh, that's just the chickens...
man, i wish we didn't have so many chickens...
poor Snickers being tempted with those chickens...
I wish we could just let him run free all the time...
oh great! i think i left a rake out in the garden...
next year i don't think we'll have such a huge garden...
i should get outside and clean up the yard better before it snows...
i need to make sure the kids have snowsuits and boots for the winter..
okay...we need to work on telling time to the minute this week...
where did i put that time practice book? (begin looking for it)
oooh...there is that art book we were looking for... i should find a fall project to do soon...
did i turn off the oven?... (go check it)
okay, what was i doing? oh yeah! looking for that time practice book...
oh man, i need to dust in this room...
(i find the time practice book & get pages ready for kendyl)
she's doing pretty well with telling time...
what time am i suposed to be at that meeting?! (go look at the calendar)...
okay, 6pm... oh shoot, i forgot we have gymnastics until 6...hmmm...
we'll have to leave early...
kendyl's doing much better with her gymnastics...
etc. etc. etc....

...you get the idea... ;)

At the same time, I believe the hubby would have these thoughts going through his head:

I'm hungry.
Why does she keep running from one room to the next?
(makes himself a snack & sits to eat it--thinks about nothing while doing so)

:)
*this was all for fun... :)
